I got up at a reasonable hour for us and harnessed up for that first walk of the day. It was gloomy outside with moisture in the air without really raining. It had warmed up and the chill was no longer there. We walked around for a bit before returning for breakfast.
I did the usual email thingy and answered a couple that I considered important enough to require an answer and trashed probably 90% of them. Then I turned my attention to the phones and spent the next four frustrating hours trying to get them to work the way I wanted them to, without much success, I might add.
Angry at myself for not being able to figure things out, I took it out on the dogs by making them go out walking as I needed to clear my head. They, of course, did not mind one little bit as they live for the walks. We wandered around and then came back to sit outside.
I noticed that Jeanette had returned to pick up her remaining things and she stopped by to say goodbye, giving me a hug at the same time. We may never see each other again as she gets on with the next part of her life and I wish her nothing but the best. Ships that pass in the night…There have been many in my lifetime.
I continued to sit for a while until it began to chill off and then we went walking one more time. One of my neighbors has a very young puppy that literally falls over himself with excitement of seeing other dogs. He is more than a match for Sandy who backs off from his exuberance.
Back in the RV, we sat for a while drinking a small bottle of wine and eating potato chips. Before it cooled down enough to head back indoors where the A/C was blowing up a storm. I turned it down and it shut off as we will need heat later this evening as it cools down. It appears that the cold front has passed through, and I hope it was the very last one for this year.
I sat down and completed the blog for today before spending the rest of the evening in the usual fashion. All in all, a very quiet day.

I found a way to carry my phone even if I don’t have a pocket, so I’m going to try to keep it on me all day to see how far I walk with Islay. We should have a competition, but you would win!
All I gotta do is walk around Walmart’s or HEB and I would beat you every time.
