I slept like the proverbial log and was not one little bit interested in crawling out of bed. It was warm and cuddly under the covers made warmer by two little dogs snuggled up as close as they could get. I eventually rolled out about 9:15 am not really ready to face the day but knowing that I could only put it off for so long. I suppose that if it wasn’t for having to take the dogs walking, I could stay there all day…
It was raining a light drizzle and very overcast, one of those exceptionally dull and cloudy days but we harnessed up to walk the park wandering around and the only ones out and about. We did not stay out long eventually adjourning back to The Caboose. I discovered that juggling the dog leashes, a bag of trash plus a couple of small bags of doggy poop and it becomes a problem especially when you add in my walking stick.
Incidentally, I did not put out the feeders this morning because of the weather, but I did replenish the seed in the two big ones off the top deck.
Back inside of the RV, I fixed the usual coffee and breakfast and settled down to write the blog paying special attention to what day was posted after messing up yesterday.
It was one of those days with nothing much to do except sit around nice and warm. I was pretty well caught up with the blog and spent time straightening out some personal papers trashing those no longer needed. Then, I sat on the couch for a while doing absolutely nothing. The dogs loved it as they got lots of attention at that time.
Eventually, it was time for the evening walk although with the clocks changed, it is now a late afternoon walk as it is getting dark by 5:30 or so. We walked Henly Loop to Hwy 290 and then back again and viewed the cows and heifers in the field across from us.
Back in the RV, I worked on the blog before getting into the evening routine of food, wine and television. Somewhere in there included feeding the dogs.
