Living in an RV Henly RV Park Tuesday, January 23 2024

I awoke to a really sore back and shoulders which hurt every time I moved. I have no idea of what caused it, but it hurt. I decided to stay where I was and hope the pain would ease off with some rest so I could get up and about. Feeling sorry for myself, I huddled under the bed covers and dozed off waking up around 11:00 am feeling better enough to get up. The pain was still there but not as bad. I had taken Advil in the hope it would help, and it did a bit.

It was a damp miserable day outside, but we had to go walking for the dog’s sake. We wandered around the park, but it was quiet out and we did not see any other dog walkers. Back in the RV, I brought out the bird feeders filling them using the new funnel/scoop that I had bought yesterday. It worked great and saved me having to pick up 30lbs bags of seed and try to empty them into the feeders.
I fixed breakfast all around although I ate a Burrito and the dogs had chicken. No, they are not spoiled. Even with that, Miss Sandy decided she did not want hers which meant she did not take her medication and before I could get in and rescue her bowl which was on the bed, her food spot, Mikey had scarfed it all up.

I was sitting and writing, and Jeff knocked on the door to tell me that my new insulated/heated hose had arrived, and he was going to install it which he did. I went outside but there was not a great deal I could do to help. He finished the installation and now, I have a heated hose which I hope the heating part never gets used, ever…

I continued to write and was all caught up and wondering what else I should get up to. I thought about going into town grocery shopping but could not work up enough enthusiasm to do it. Tomorrow, maybe…

We harnessed up to go walking and managed to get in our requisite mile for the day. It was very foggy out with intermittent rain drops but not steady rain, which from our perspective, was a good thing. We ran into Daniel who was walking to the Commons and our friends Sharon and Larry spotted us coming and Sharon was ready with the treat bag by the time we got there. Sandy was ready too and chomped down three of the treats. Even Mikey ate his, surprise, surprise.

We moved on around the park and checked our mailbox and luckily, it was empty. Then we just wandered around heading in the general direction of The Caboose where we moved inside for the evening.
