Living in an RV Henly RV Park Friday 01/26/2024.

I brought out the feeders which were all still very full. Incidentally, when I got up this morning and glanced out of the window, I spotted a new squirrel had found us. He was working on the feed spilled from the feeders as they sat on the deck overnight. Nice to see other squirrels around as they don’t eat much and are fun to watch. I found the other one that used to visit us, on the grass in front of the Commons. There were no visible causes I could see but it was very dead.

We went back indoors where I had several chores that needed to be done, first of which was to clean the left side of the double sink which is not used but had gotten filthy under its cover. Then, I followed up by using the indoor cooker to cook some meat I had bought a couple of days ago. That will take a bit longer as there are two packages, but it can cook while I am working on the blog.

Oh yes, I happened to be in the bathroom which reminded me that I also needed to do a load of laundry (the washing machine is set up in the bathroom) I collected everything up and went outside to make sure that the drains were open before turning on the washing machine. Busy indeed.

This caught us up with our chores except for the laundry which all told will take four hours, so I turned my attention to the blog and spent the next hour or so playing catchup. Luckily, I was up to date from yesterday otherwise my aged brain would really be working overtime. I really do have a memory problem. I wonder how long before it affects my way of living? Hopefully, at least a couple more years. One of my readers suggested that I carry a recorder and dictate notes as the day goes on. Actually, that is not a bad idea, and it will probably get to that. Either that or give up writing the blog which is written solely to keep my brain active as not very many people are interested in me or what I do from day to day.

We went out for another short walk around the park and stopped to chat to a couple of people. We passed Olive who was busy dragging both herself, a stick and Greg around the park, Olive took time out from her busy schedule to say high to both of my dogs and then went on her way with her stick. Such a wonderful, funny little dog with a real personality.

We walked back to The Caboose and adjourned inside for the evening. We managed to get in a mile, but it was a struggle. The rest of the evening was spent in the usual way.
