I got up to a dull miserable looking day and when I looked out the window, almost went straight back to bed as it was so very grey and uninviting outside. However, we had to make at least one circuit of the park so the dogs could do their business. Before walking, I spent time refilling the feeders and hanging them for my bird “friends.” The forecast is for it to rain later. We could use some rain and it would not interfere with our outside activity which today includes taking the dogs for a walk and trying to get in a minimum of a mile and not get too wet in the process. 

We managed a half mile around the park but did not see any other dogs or owners and returned to The Caboose for breakfast all around and that all important coffee. Then it was time to work on the blog. We have no plans for the day other than to stay warm and dry. 

I watched as a Motor Coach pulled into one of the empty spots across from me. I have learned that even though they may appear to need help, it is better to wait to be asked. People are funny that way. After all, there are no better experts than the ones doing the watching. 

We sat and I brought the blog up to date and wondered what else I could do apart from taking a nap which was very appealing. Actually, we just lounged around not doing much of anything. The dogs were quite happy to lounge along with me. Eventually, it was time for that afternoon walk and again, we were the only ones outside. It had turned quite chilly, and we were all glad to get back inside. It actually rained for a bit, but we were indoors where it was warm and dry. 

The rest of the evening followed the usual pattern of food and television.
