The Tree.

I slept well waking up a little after 8:00 am and made a big effort to actually get up. Once, out of bed, I put on my jacket remembering how nippy it was outside yesterday morning. It was a sunny day outside and we harnessed up for the usual morning chores like bringing out the bird feeders. Altogether, I have eleven feeders hanging up around the RV. Two are in the tree, two are on the deck and the rest are on hanger poles. In the spring, that number will increase as I will have at least four hummingbird feeders hanging up. 

I had not been out very long before I discovered that the sun had some heat to it so off came the jacket while I finished re-filling the feeders. Today was a “big” day as just about every one of them needed topping up. 

With the birds all set for another day, we wandered around the park with no specific direction in mind but for some reason, none of us were into walking and we only covered a half mile. 

Back at The Caboose, it was the usual breakfast all around. Neither Mikey nor Sandy ate theirs. It is so aggravating as they ate the same stuff yesterday. For a change, I ate sardines on toast which was very tasty although I prefer the sardines to be in Tomato sauce, and these were in oil. Still, I ate them anyway. 

Then it was blog time and I sat writing for a while bringing us up to date or should that read, up to the minute? 

It was a very slow day with not much of anything going on. The high point was the walks around the park although it was quiet with only one new RV pulled in. The usual dogs and their people were out walking. We must all be on the same timetable. 

We did a lot of sitting around and I tried to take a nap but all I managed to do was sit there with my eyes closed. Still, even that was restful and peaceful, and we managed to pass a couple of hours this way. Then it was time to walk again, and we just wandered around going nowhere, fast. 

The rest of the evening was spent in the usual way. All in all, a very quiet day.
