I managed to sleep really well and even got up at 8:00 am all bright and cheerful and ready to face the day. I took a shower which got me even wider awake before throwing on some clothes. Then I fed the dogs and Sandy ate most of hers while Mikey did his Mikey thing of leaving his food until later, much later, usually around 6:00 pm. His breakfast becomes his dinner!
Then it was the usual bird feeder activity although I did not have to refill any of the feeders. Like I said yesterday, the number of birds has dropped quite considerably. I tied the dogs to the table while I was doing the bird feeder thing so at least they could feel a part of it.
With the feeders all taken care of, it was time to go walking. There had been a drastic change in the weather with the wind gusting up to 34 mph making it very cold as we walked around the park. There was no sign of rain, just the drop in temperatures and wind. We did not walk very far as it was too uncomfortable. Even the dogs were ready to come back indoors.
I sat here writing and the wind was quite literally howling around the RV. It is quite a cool sound just as long as I am indoors in the warm and I have no plans to venture out except for dog walks.
I sat and watched as a squirrel climbed onto the bird feeders. He appeared to be only interested in the seed cakes, so I let him eat his fill which was not very much. I like squirrels as well as birds.
I worked on the blog as I usually do, bringing us up to date and then looked around for other things to get up to. I did a couple of household chores and a lot of sitting around with a dog on either side of me.
Then it was time to go walking again and we walked the outside roads. There were no exotics to look at, so we just wandered around managing to get in a mile on a very cold and windy day.
There was no sitting outside because of the cold temperature and I shut up shop after bringing in the bird feeders and adjourned back indoors to the warmth of the RV for the evening meal and television.
