Are these “our” Zebras? If so, they have a new permanent home? Actually, I know they are not as I got to see our Zebra pair yesterday.
I tossed and turned all night long and must have eventually dropped off to sleep as the bedside clock told me it was almost 9:00 am. I jumped out of bed straight into the shower to wake myself up. Cold water will do that pretty quick.
Then it was time to go out walking in the park and we wandered around meeting Daniel and Jeff along the way. We chatted for a bit, and they both returned to work, and we continued walking. We did our usual 7/10’s of a mile before returning for breakfast and coffee. As far as I can tell, we have no plans to do anything special although fate has a way of changing that.
Back in The Caboose, I made breakfast for us all and Sandy ate all of hers. Mikey is saving his for later and I ate both pieces of toast I had made. It was a cloudy and overcast day and a good one to stay inside in the warm.
I had already brought out the feeders and the birds amused me with their carryings on. I took a quick glance at the two flowering plants I had purchased yesterday and said to myself, “Later, I will plant you later.”
Back in the RV, I completed the blog and brought it up to date. Good thing too as I was a couple of days behind, again. Incidentally, the park is full up in anticipation of the upcoming eclipse due to happen on Monday, April 8th. The weather forecast is not too good with clouds forecast but hopefully, we will still get to see something. We will know it is happening even if we cannot see it happen as it will still grow dark.
I found things to do to keep me amused which included watering the garden. We also sat around a lot which the dogs really enjoyed, one on each side of me on the couch. Then it was time to go walking again and we wandered around inside the campgrounds saying “Hello” to anyone we happened to meet.
Back in the RV, we sat outside for a while with a bottle of beer for company. Besides the dogs, that is. I would say, we were watching the world go by but there is not a lot of activity in that direction in the campground.
It was almost dark as I had to wait that long for the birds to stop eating before bringing in the feeders for yet another day. The rest of the evening was spent with food and TV in that order.
