Living in an RV Henly RV Park Wednesday 01/21/2026

I awoke around the usual time and as we usually do, first order of business was to take the dogs out walking around the park. Even though my 90th birthday was yesterday, I didn’t feel any older and walking was no more difficult than it was the day before. The couple of people that I met on the walk all shouted a belated “Happy Birthday” to me.

I had a few chores to do around the RV and then decided to go into town. I needed some groceries and I wanted to replace the missing floor mat, you know, the one that blew off the Jeep!

The drive in was as it normally is, quiet and peaceful. On the way in, I kept my eyes open for the mat that I lost yesterday but with no luck. I can kiss that one goodbye. In town, I did some grocery shopping in HEB and then made my way to Walmart’s and after much searching, found a mat that really appealed to me.

The drive home was plain sailing, and we arrived back to two very happy little dogs who immediately wanted to go out walking. So, as we usually do, we harnessed up and wandered around before returning to the RV for the evening meal. Then, I watched a couple of movies until almost midnight before wandering off to bed.
