Henly RV Park 02/17/2024 

I was sitting in my RV 
thinking about my life 
of all the years that have passed 
and me living without a wife 
back in my younger days 
I tried the marriage thing three times 
but every time it did not work out 
and I was left stuck in my ways. 

What I did not know  
all of those years ago 
that even if I found it bliss 
my wives did not find it so 
I must have been a terrible mate 
for them to leave me as they did 
my problem was, I did not know 
that they all disliked me so. 
 
After three I gave up wives 
and lived alone for the rest of my days 
by then I was way too old 
to even think of changing my ways 
the one constant in my life 
was to have a dog or two around 
they filled the void left by those gone 
and enabled me to carry on. 

I love dogs- Women? Not so much…
