Living In An RV

    January 11th, 2026

Happy New Year to one and all. We managed to make it through another year for which we are forever grateful. I wonder what this next year has to bring.

As we are creatures of habit, we harnessed up the dogs and then went out for that all important first walk of the day just wandering around the campsite. Practically, every one of our walks nowadays are just strolls around the campsite. We haven’t done an organized walk at some distant park in probably forever. Something to keep in mind for the future. Today, for some reason, my right foot is hurting in the heel area. I have no idea what I might have done to it. It kind of limits me covering any distance so our first walk was short.

When we got back, I brought out the bird feeders filling a couple that needed seed. Then, we adjourned back indoors for breakfast and that all important coffee.

I sat and shared breakfast with the dogs and at the same time, brought the blog up to date. I thought about the day ahead wondering what to do for the rest of it. I do know that there is a get together in the Commons for some of the residents at 4:00 pm for which, I will honor them with my company.

I found things to do, and the time flew by. When I next glanced at the clock, it said it was 4;15 and there was a knock on the door. I found Peggy standing there and she gave me a hard time in a gentle sort of way because I was not over at the Commons. I walked over with her and a full plate of mashed potatoes and vegetables, and stew was thrust under my nose for me to eat.

I thanked them and apologized for being late and ate my food. We sat and drank a couple of beers and generally enjoyed the evening and the company. This time, Delores ex joined us, and our little circle grew by one.

The evening finally broke up, and we each wandered back to our own RV’s. I took the dogs out for the last walk of the day and then we adjourned back to my RV and fed them. I watched a movie and then crawled off to bed as, yet another day came to an end.

    January 10th, 2026

I got up around the usual time to a nice bright sunny day although the wind still had a chill to it. Today is the very last day of the year 2025, never to be seen again. Kinda frightening when you think about it as time marches inexorably onward. We all have a beginning and an ending and our time on this earth is very short and somewhat limited.

I consider myself very lucky that I will be 90 years old in 20 days’ time, and that I still have most of my capabilities both physical and mental. I can’t ask for more than that.

I harnessed up the dogs and this time, Summer was awake enough to let me put her harness on and followed us out the door. We did our usual wander around the neighborhood stopping to smell the roses along the way before returning to the RV for breakfast and in my case, the all-important coffee. Both dogs were not very hungry and hardly touched the food I gave them.

I turned my attention to the blog and caught us up to date although I was only a day behind anyway. I happened to glance at the clock and was surprised to see that it was already 2:30 pm and I have no idea where the time goes.

We spent the afternoon watching an English Premier League.

The girls had invited me to join them in the Commons to drink a couple of beers. So, after taking the dogs out for their mid-day walk, I wandered over to drink with them. A couple of other people stopped by but didn’t stay long. I stayed a couple of hours before leaving as by now, it was dark out and I still had to walk the dogs and bring in the bird feeders.

With those things out of the way, we adjourned back to the RV, and I fed the dogs. I didn’t need feeding thanks to the Girls generosity. And so, the day came to a close.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Monday, December 29, 2025

    January 9th, 2026

We awoke to both a windy day and a drop in temperatures as the thermometer went downhill. It showed it to be 44 degrees with the wind chill making it feel like 28 degrees, Way too cold for my liking. I think that Summer’s sixth sense was warning her it was cold out as she just rolled over and went back to sleep. Meanwhile, Mikey and I braved the cold and walked around the Commons for us to get some exercise.

Of course, when we got back, Summer was ready to go so Mikey, and I repeated the process of walking around the Commons. It was cold enough that both dogs were glad to get back into the warmth of the RV, as was I.

I brought the feeders out but there are hardly any birds, probably because it is so cold. Still the few that need food know where to come for it.

With the walks and the birds taken care of, we adjourned back indoors, and I fixed us all breakfast although I didn’t eat what the dogs ate! Then it was time to play catch up with the blog, again…

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Sunday 12/28/2025

    January 8th, 2026

The year is flying on by as this month comes to an end. Not counting today, only three days left before we celebrate another New Year. With it, one more birthday on Jan 20th which will be my 90th. Wow.

I got up at a reasonable hour and brought out the bird feeders after checking to see if they had seed in them. There are so few birds that I can let the feeders get almost empty before refilling them. If any are empty, I just leave them in the storage box and use those that have something to offer.

Then we went out walking the Park and again, Summer stayed indoors while Mikey and I went out walking knowing full well that when we get back, we will have to walk again to take Summer out.

It was a very quiet day with nothing much going on around the campground. I spent time with the girls as they continued with their new schedule of hanging out in The Commons before I headed back to my RV so that I could walk the dogs again.

I spent a lot more time hanging out and listening to an Audiobook or just sitting around with the dogs doing nothing.

Finally, it was time to bring in the feeders and shut up the outside shop as, yet another day came to a close.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park * Wednesday, January 7th, 2026

    January 7th, 2026

It was a bit windy when we went out for the first walk of the day but at least, it wasn’t raining. We wandered around as we usually do and managed to cover almost a mile which really got us going for the rest of the day. Mikey enjoys the walks and the myriads of smells he encounters along the way. Summer, not so much as she generally trots along behind. When she wants to take a break, she just stops which usually brings me to a stop. I know what is happening behind me so am prepared to stop so as not to pull too hard on her harness. On the other hand, there are times when she just stops and won’t move on at all. Those are the times I apply steady pressure to the leash and as I am bigger and stronger than she is, I always win.

I sat and worked on the blog bringing it up to date as I waited for James, the RV repair man come out to work on repairing the damage caused by the rats. It took him several hours and he is remarkably agile for such a big man. I helped where I could, but my role was to hand him whatever he needed at that time as he was laying on the floor which was the only way to get to where the damage was. He eventually finished and I squared up with him and thanked him profusely.

It had taken most of the day working on the rat problem and we spent what daylight was left walking around the park giving the dogs their much-needed exercise. I guess I needed it too.

Delores stopped over and we made arrangements for her to drive us to one of the Restaurants in town where we enjoyed a nice Mexican meal together. I really enjoy her company, and we get on well together. Nothing romantic, just good friends. Soon, her and I will be the only ones left from our original large group as the others move off in different directions.

When we got back, I put away the bird feeders even though it was already dark. I turn on the RV canopy lights to provide enough lighting to see what I am doing as I put the feeders away in the storage boxes.

I fed the dogs and then we watched a movie until midnight which was our signal to go to bed as another day came to an end.

Living in an RV Henly RV Park Thursday, January 8th, 2026

We got up to another overcast day with a very strong breeze. First thing was to harness up the dogs so they could take me walking around the park. We covered about a half mile on that first walk and only saw one other person walking his dog.

Back in the RV, it was the usual breakfast routine making sure the dogs got tasters to encourage them to eat their own food. After which, Sandy found her hidey hole and Mikey sat in the chair next to mine and both of them went to sleep. And they call it, a dog’s life…

I worked on the blog bringing us up to date and then looked around for something else to do. Then I remembered that the toilet was blocked and put in a call to Josh to bring his special stick over to help me unblock it. He calls the stick his “shit stick”. a very fitting name for what it gets used for, He poked the stick down the drainpipe and twirled it around a few times and the toilet let go and was no longer blocked. Thank you, Josh, and your “shit stick”!

Now, all that is left is the rat treatment and a different guy is coming out tomorrow to do that. I sat and worked on the blog until it was up to date and then wondered what to do for the rest of the day as it was only 12:00 pm. I don’t need to go shopping as we did that yesterday and I am pretty much caught up with the chores around the RV.

Basically, we did a whole lot of nothing and at one point, I almost dropped off to sleep. There was no reason to not take a nap but somehow, I felt like I was wasting time by doing that. Sitting around and doing nothing is not?

The rest of the day was filled by doing the usual things, dog walking, bringing in the bird feeders and a lot of sitting around listening to an Audiobook

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Saturday, December 27, 2025

    January 7th, 2026

The year is racing to a close as we look forward to the start of a new one with all of its trials and tribulations. That is what makes living so wonderful apart from the obvious as we never know what the next day will bring.

For some reason, I slept late and it was 11:00 am before I even woke up. Haven’t slept that late in a long time. I guess my body needed the sleep although I have no idea why as it’s not like I am busy all day long. Maybe, all that sitting around makes me tired…

We followed our normal pattern of bringing out the bird feeders and even though they are low on seed, I decided not to re-fill them as there are hardly any birds to talk of. It was a cloudy and overcast day but so far, had not started to rain and there is none in the forecast for all of this week. We could really use some of the wet stuff if for nothing more than to get things growing.

Then we went out walking around the park or at least, Mikey and I did, Summer has her own agenda and has gotten into the habit of sleeping late even after Mikey and I get ready to go walking. So now, the two of us walk around once and then come back for Summer and usually, she is ready to go, usually…

It was a quiet day, and we had very little to do. I needed to go into Tractor Supply to get Rat traps and spray to help treat the problems that we have. That was the only thing I needed having visited HEB the day before.

When we got back, I sprayed the area where we had been having the rat problems which luckily is somewhere where the dogs can’t get to.

The rest of the day was spent listening to an Audiobook, dog walking and then watching TV along with the evening meal.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Friday 12/26/2025

    January 1st, 2026

In England, where I was born and lived for 30 or more years, the day after Christmas is called Boxing Day and is another part of the Christmas celebration. It is not celebrated here in the USA,

So, I awoke to a beautiful sunny morning and as Summer was having another of her “don’t wake me up deals” Mikey and I went out walking on our own. We walked around the park as we usually do and when we got back, Summer was just waking up so I grabbed her harness and slipped it on her before she realized what was happening… We went out for another walk, and she was quite happy once we got going although she is definitely a follower and not a leader.

When we got back, a made a grocery list and then hopped in the Jeep for the short drive into town where I headed straight to the HEB located there. I spent the next half hour wandering around finding the things I needed and a few more that found their way into my basket and then made the drive home. I did have another place that I wanted to go but they were closed.

Back at the Park, after unloading the groceries and putting them away, I harnessed up the dogs, and we went out walking the park. The temperature was in the low eighties, not bad for the day after Christmas.

The rest of the day was spent either dog walking or listening to an Audiobook.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Thursday 12/25/2025

    December 31st, 2025

Today is Christmas Day much celebrated throughout the world within the Christian Community. It is also a day when presents are exchanged and then later, a Christmas Dinner with all of the appropriate food and beverages and the traditional Turkey.

I got up about the normal time and took the dogs walking. It was a cloudy and overcast day but at least it wasn’t raining. As usual, we walked around the park wishing anyone that we passed a Merry Christmas. Not being a very religious person and with no immediate family, to me, Christmas is just another day albeit generally with lots of food and drink and good company.

I am probably the oldest person in the park, and my neighbors go out of their way to make sure that I am not left out of the celebrations.

I received an invite from one of them to eat Christmas dinner in the Commons along with a half dozen others. At the time, I didn’t realize that it was a dinner and thought that a few people were just going to share a few drinks. These were all neighbors of whom, I had only met one person before.

They made me feel very welcome and it was fun sharing conversations with people I was meeting for the first time. After the dinner, we sat around and told each other stories until it started to get dark and I left the party to walk the dogs. When we got back, I went through the usual putting the bird feeders away as another day came to an end.

    December 30th, 2025

I awoke and went to take the dogs walking and discovered that the water was leaking again. Amber stopped by at that moment and turned the water off for me while I dressed. This is the same problem that James just fixed in the same spot under the sink cabinet. Apparently, this is caused by rats gnawing on the plastic pipe although, I haven’t seen any visible signs of the darn things except for the damage.

Josh stopped by and as our regular repair people were busy plus it is the day before Christmas, located another repairman who came later that day. . In the meantime, I straightened up the RV ready for the visit.

I was trying to get stuff out of the cabinets and restock it in some sort of order so we could get to where it was leaking which was the same place as a week ago. After much effort and cussing and swearing, I finally got the cabinet so at least I could see what I was looking for. Incidentally, the leak is almost certainly caused by rats or mice.

Somehow, the blog settings have changed, and I keep getting my writing underlined when I don’t need it much to my frustration. With the blog straightened out so that it made sense, I continued with the writing.and finished it as far as I could go,

By now, it was late afternoon, and I noticed the girl’s car parked at the Commons, so I wandered over taking wine and beer with me. We sat around for a bit chatting and then I left them watching a movie as I wandered back to my RV.

The rest of the evening was spent in the usual way feeding dogs and then myself before watching a movie until almost midnight.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Tuesday 12/23/2025

    December 29th, 2025

We awoke as we do on every day at least so far in our collective lives. But, as we all know. our dog’s lives are short by comparison. On the other hand, that also gives us the opportunity to have several dogs over ours and their lifetimes.

There was nothing special about today except that I was very grateful that I woke up as one of these days, I won’t, darn it…,,

As usual, we went out for our morning walk and just as usual, Summer was the last one out. That little girl likes to sleep. As we usually do, Mikey and I walked one circuit around the Commons giving him time to do his business before we returned to harness up Summer who was waiting at the door. I guess she has the routine worked out in her doggy brain.

Then, it was back indoors for breakfast and that first all-important coffee of the day. After breakfast, I sat down in front of the computer and then wracked my brain as I tried to recall what happened the previous two days. Darn brain…

I finally got everything kind of straightened up and by then, it was almost 3:30 pm as the day raced on by. We went out for another walk around the park and then, brought in the feeders as there had not been much activity around them.

The rest of the day was spent in the usual way.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Monday 12/22/2025

    December 27th, 2025

It was another quiet day on the home front as we had nothing major planned for the day. The girls had mentioned they were going to watch movies in The Commons and had offered me an invite. I had a few things to do before I went over to the Commons to join them.

I worked on a couple of household chores which included walking the dogs a couple of times. Some mornings, Summer does not wake up when we are ready to go, and Mikey and I leave her behind and take a short walk around the Commons. We circle back and usually, by then, she is on the deck waiting for us and ready to go.

I fixed the dogs their food and then wandered over to The Commons where the Girls were fixing their evening meal. I had a previous invite so was not crashing their privacy. We sat and chatted and sort of watched a movie.

I really enjoy their company as I always do. They and Delores are all that is left of our original group. The others have all moved on as after all, we do live in RV’s which are meant for traveling.

It was getting dark when I wandered back to my RV where I was greeted by my dogs. As a reward, we went out for a short walk in the dark around The Commons before heading back indoors.

There as usual, I watched a movie until it was almost midnight before bidding the world, Goodnight.

    December 26th, 2025

I had a good night’s sleep and was very reluctant to give up my spot under the warm covers, but Mikey made a fuss and we crawled out. It was another fine sunny day, and we had no particular plans and would take it as it comes. Sandy has taken to sleeping in the living area in a couple of hidey holes.

First thing was to harness up and take that first walk to get the blood flowing. We wandered around the park before returning to the RV for breakfast and that all important first coffee of the day. Incidentally, in England where I was born and lived until I was 30 or so, Tea was the main drink. That has probably changed now with the American influence over the World.

The “Girls” were eating breakfast in The Commons along with watching movies and I joined them for the breakfast part which took about an hour.

Back in the RV, I fed the dogs their breakfast. As it was almost noon time, I made a ham sandwich.

I settled down in front of the computer to play catchup with the blog which took at least an hour. Then, I looked around for something else to do. I glanced at the clock and was surprised to see that it was already 4:00 pm. I have no idea where the day has gone.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Saturday 12/20/2025

    December 25th, 2025

I got up around the usual time for us. After the cold water on the face routine to wake me up, we harnessed up and out we went walking the park for that first very important walk of the day. We wandered around saying “Hi” to anyone we met along the way.

Not many people were out and about and there are a couple that get up early to walk their dogs. That doesn’t include us. We are way too lazy to crawl out early unless there is an emergency. That is another reason why we don’t use the Dog Run as then, I don’t get any exercise.

Back in the RV, I fixed us all breakfast although mine was different than theirs. Then, I turned my attention to the blog and played catch up as I had fallen behind…again!

I thought about the day ahead and wondered what to do. I knew that I needed to go grocery shopping as I was out of wine and of course food. Without further ado, I hopped into the Jeep and made that trip to the HEB in Dripping Springs.

I wandered around the store and got out of there after spending my usual $150.00. I stayed pretty much with the list I had put together, I had a couple of other items that I needed but planned on stopping at Tractor Supply on the way home.

The shopping was finished this time around and I drove back to the RV Park. My little friends met me there where I got all kinds of help putting the groceries away. Then we went out walking the Park.

Peggy, BJ and Delores were over at The Commons watching a movie, so I wandered over to join them. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the companionship and idle chatter while consuming both wine and beer.

Eventually, I left the group as it was getting dark and I needed to walk the dogs plus bring in the bird feeders. By then, as it was totally dark, I shut up the outside shop for the night and adjourned indoors for the evening meal followed by watching a couple soccer games.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Friday 12/19/2025

    December 24th, 2025

I was lucky and had a good night’s sleep only awakening for the call of Nature. I crawled out of bed and the cold water on the face routine finished the waking up process. The first thing as it always is was to take the dogs out for their morning walk, the success of which is measured by if the dogs poop. We keep walking until they do, so some walks take longer than the others.

We wandered around and hit the bottom entrance walking back up the hill to re-enter the park. Both dogs had done what they were supposed to do so we made a beeline for the RV. When we got back, I brought out the bird feeders although there are hardly any birds visiting. Still, the odd one or two are as hungry as having a whole flock of them.

I made breakfast and gave some of it to the dogs. Summer was extremely hungry and pigged out and then went looking for more which I gave her.

I sat and worked on the blog bringing it up to date and then prepared to make the trip into town for the flea and tick spray. I stopped at Tractor Supply which had a whole section devoted to sprays and such for treating indoor pests. There were several to choose from so I picked one out and added it to my cart along with a couple of other items and made my way out of the store. This trip was a solely a Tractor Supply trip, so I made my way back to Henly and the RV.

I worked on the bug problem spraying all of the areas that I could. I have several that will need emptying like the closet or drawer in order to get access to all of it plus making sure that nothing gets contaminated by the spray.

The girls had invited me over to watch a movie and this time; I supplied the beer. We sat around chatting as well as watching and before long, it started to get dark. I bid the girls “Goodnight” and wandered back to my RV where I turned on the outside lights so that I could see what I was doing as I brought in the bird feeders and took the dogs for a quick walk around the Commons before shutting up the outside shop for one more day.

The rest of the evening was spent in the usual way with food all around and then watching a couple of English football games before calling it a night.

    December 23rd, 2025

I awoke to another day which I knew, would probably be just like all the others. At least, it would be like the ones just lately. As far as I knew, we had nothing planned for the day, not even a trip to the Grocery store.

First thing as it always is, harness up the dogs for their first walk of the day. Again, Summers was fast asleep, so Mikey and I took that first stroll around The Commons on our own. We stopped by the RV to harness up my little girl and then the three of us continued with our walk.

It was a nice sunny day with a bit of a breeze as we wandered around the park. We did not see any other campers so presumably, we were late getting out. When we returned to the RV, I made coffee for me and made sure the dogs had plenty of hard food in their bowls.

Then, I sat down in front of the computer and played catch up bringing everything up to date. Somehow, I missed a couple of days and got another couple of days mixed up with of course, not a hope in hell of remembering what might have happened on those days.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Thursday 12/18/2025

    December 23rd, 2025

I slept well and was not ready to get up at all. The bed was warm and snuggly with Mikey all cuddled up next to me. Summer was in her usual spot on the floor. I think she gets too hot as she likes to be out in the open sleeping on the bare boards. I have tried picking her up and putting her on the bed, but she is back on the floor in the morning.

I eventually rolled out, and the clock said it was almost 10:00 am. We have nothing planned for today, but I need to go into town for some Flea and Tick Spray as I forgot it yesterday. I have a bad case of roaches in many of the drawers and need to treat them ASAP. Story of a camper’s life.

We did the usual walk about enough for the dogs to do their business and then headed back to the RV for breakfast. Both dogs had food left over from yesterday’s evening meal, so I guess they don’t like the food I gave them. And I thought that dogs ate anything…

I had a bowl of corn flakes but like most food nowadays, it didn’t taste so good to me. I always leave a little and some milk for whichever dog gets to it first but even they have turned their noses up at least so far. Maybe, they are saving it for later.

As we usually do, we went out walking around the park to get the blood flowing. At least, that is what I do it for. The dogs use the walk to do their business and to get some exercise.

I had a couple of items that I needed from Tractor Supply and jumped in the Jeep for the short five-mile trip. Like an idiot knowing how bad my brain is, I didn’t have the usual list as it was only bug killer that I needed. However, when I got to the store, I bought a few items like bird feed and such but for the life of me, could not remember what the main item was that I was shopping for. I wandered around the store, but nothing jogged my memory. How bad is that? This made me resolve to write things down in the future.

The rest of the day was spent in listening to an Audiobook, watching a couple of movies, taking the dogs out walking and the evening meal, not necessarily in that order.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Wednesday 12/17/2025

    December 22nd, 2025

It was a dull, grey day when we went out for the first walk. For a change, Summer was wide awake and ready to go and even led the way for some of the time we were out walking. Most unusual for her. She also slept on the bed with me and Mikey last evening which is even more unusual. By morning though, she had got down and was sleeping on the floor as she usually does. I bought her this very large pillow, and I think I have only seen her use it a couple of times. She prefers to sleep on the hard floor.

We made a circuit of the top section to the campground making sure that both dogs did their business before returning to the RV for breakfast which I fixed for the three of us. I did not eat dog food however and instead, had two pieces of toast with one Marmite and one Marmalade and of course, coffee. Food is fast becoming more and more less interesting to me as I grow older, and I eat enough to keep me alive and that’s about it.

Interestingly enough, two of my friends left me food on the steps to the RV for which I was very grateful. Must be, I give the impression of either being really in need OR destitute. Fine by me as most of the time, I can’t be bothered to make fancy dishes for myself. To me, nowadays food is just a necessity, and it’s been a while since last I went to a Restaurant. Maybe next month on my 90th birthday.

I sat and worked on bringing the blog up to date and also spent some time in putting it back in order as for some reason, it was not. Outside, it was a dull, grey day with a fine rain falling. Not heavy but enough to make it uncomfortable.

I watched as an RV pulled into one of the travelling sites. This one was a smaller one built for travelling. They were I assume, a husband-and-wife team and quickly set up showing me that they were not first timers. With it being the winter season, many campers have found their winter homes and not many are travelling. This park is about 3/4 full mostly with full timers like me.

I went grocery shopping as I was low on some things. I had a list but when I got home, I thought of a few other things I should have bought. Oh well.

The rest of the day was spent in the usual way. I did get to visit a couple of friends here at the campsite and spent time with them. And then the day was gone…

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Tuesday 12/16/2025

    December 21st, 2025

The weather had turned much colder as the temperature dropped to the mid 50’s. So far, we have not had a freeze but I’m quite sure, one is coming. Now that I have finally got both computers up and running, I will be playing catch up with the blog and hopefully stay caught up. Yeah, right…

In the time that I was unable to post, nothing much happened and in truth, the big news was not being able to post because of the computer problems. I know that I have very few followers as most of what I write is very repetitious and not much changes from one day to the next and I am grateful for the few that have stuck it out.

It didn’t take long to get back into our usual routine and after walking the dogs around the Commons, we quickly headed back to the RV. The heater was blowing full blast, and it was lovely and warm back inside.

Josh came over and rodded out the toilet and drains in the hope of getting the toilet to free up but determined that it was a hard buildup problem and probably would need a new toilet. James, the RV Repair Man was on site so now it depends on what he has to say. The problem is that the toilet will not flush with any force or amount of water and consequently, backs up.

I fixed breakfast for myself and fed the dogs and caught up with the blog and wondered what else to do for the rest of the day. I thought about all of the possibilities and after making sure that the blog was all caught up, I settled down to my usual pastime of listening to an Audiobook.

Time slipped on by and pretty soon, it was time to go out for the last walk of the day and bring in the bird feeders which I did with lots of help from Mikey and Summer.

The rest of the evening was spent with feeding dogs and then me and watching a movie.

  • Living in an RV Henly RV Park Thursday 12/11/2025

    December 20th, 2025

I got up a couple of times in the night to adjust the heat in the RV. For some reason, the main heaters are not kicking in when they should, and I had to make use of the two portable heaters. One, I put in the living area to keep the chill off and the other in the bedroom mostly to keep Mikey and Summer warm as I am in good shape under the covers. BTW, Summer wanted to be on the bed last evening although she never stays there, always getting down on the floor to find her hidey holes. Still, it’s a start that she wanted to be up there with Mikey and me.

I was up a couple of times to use the bathroom and once to adjust the heaters and I was ready to get up when morning finally arrived even though I slept pretty good. I threw on some clothes after taking a quick shower and then took the dogs out walking. We wandered around but there was nothing of interest going on.

Upon our return to the RV, Summer was giving me “the look” and then she started barking just to let me know that it was breakfast time. I opened a small can of dog food for each of them. She gobbled hers down and the last time I looked, Mikey’s was untouched and sitting on the couch. Summer knew it was there but luckily; she has not learned how to jump up there yet. I’m sure she is working on it though.

I glanced at the clock which told me that it was already almost 12:30 pm. As far as I know, we have nothing planned for today. Tomorrow, the Bug Man is coming as we have a roach problem…again.

My apologies for ending the blog unfinished but things came up that demanded my attention. The next few days are also missing due to computer problems on my end.
